Local Contract Manufacturing

  • With fluctuation of forex rates in Sudan since end of 2017, we identified the need to source locally manufactured quality products that would be more suited to a hyper-inflated economy.
  • We secured a contract manufacturing agreement with a local facility and now enjoy a range of 39 SKUs, and growing, of medicinal and FMCG products.
  • Being the exclusive distributors to all local production of the manufacturing plant as well as we supply them with APIs, excipients and packaging materials.
  • To meet our appetite for growth and expansion, we have entered into a preliminary sale purchase agreement to acquire the 27,698 square meters facility. The acquisition is due to be completed by the end of Q4 of 2021.
  • With consultation of a British firm to upgrade the facility with additional production lines for general tables, general capsules, semi-solids, cephalosporins and for the first time in Sudan anti-cancers range of tablets, capsules and vials with an initial production plan of 174 SKUs to reach 100% market release in 36 months.
  • Total acquisition and upgrade value is a little under $30,000,000 USD.
